Founded on a simple, stubborn belief.
Unchaos started with a question: what if therapy didn't feel like a taboo? What if it felt like the part of your week where you finally exhaled? Like going to the gym but for your mind?
Therapy has a PR problem. Somewhere along the way, it became the thing you do when everything's already on fire — not the thing that stops you from quietly spiralling.
Hi, I'm Fatema (Ema). Therapist, expat, and someone who once thought she had it all figured out until life handed her a plot twist she didn't see coming. I've sat on both sides of the couch — and I can tell you, the view is humbling from either seat. I work with people who are fluent in "I'm fine." High achievers running on caffeine and willpower. Expats who built a whole new life abroad and still can't shake the feeling that they're slightly out of place at their own party. People of colour doing the invisible double shift — navigating the world out there and the noise in their head.
You don't think you need therapy. You're not in crisis. You're just... running a little hot. Like a laptop with forty-three tabs open — technically functional, occasionally freezing, making a sound that probably isn't normal.
That's what Unchaos is for. Not to fix you — you're not broken — but to help you close a few tabs, figure out which ones actually matter, and stop running everything on low battery. We laugh, we go to the uncomfortable places, and we work through it — together.
