WHO THIS IS FOR

You might recognise yourself in here.

You don't have to be in crisis to want more. If any of these sound familiar, you're in the right place.

on loop

The same argument, the same spiral, the same Sunday dread — and you can see it coming but can't stop it.

functional, not fine

On paper, everything is fine. Inside, you're running on fumes and performing "okay" for an audience of one.

stuck

You've read the books. You know the concepts. And still — you're circling the same pain you were three years ago.

tired of coping

You don't want another breathing app. You want to understand why the feeling keeps coming back in the first place.

in transition

A breakup, a move, a loss, a chapter ending. You're not broken — you're between selves, and it's disorienting.

curious

Nothing's technically wrong. You just sense there's a version of you with more clarity, and you want to meet her.

HOW IT WORKS

Book. Understand. Transform.

Starting therapy should feel like the easiest part. Here's exactly what happens from "hmm, maybe" to your first session.

01

Book a free call

A 20-minute, no-pressure conversation. Tell me what's going on — or don't. This is just to see if we click.

02

Decide freely

If it feels right, we schedule. If it doesn't — I'll point you to someone who might be a better fit. Zero guilt.

03

Do the work

Weekly or fortnightly sessions online. We build a map of your patterns and the tools to interrupt them — at your pace.

04

Notice the shift

The same trigger hits and you respond differently. That's the point. Not perfection — just more room between stimulus and story.

THE APPROACH

Not a personality quiz. Not a vibe check. Actual therapy.

I blend evidence-based methods with warmth and plain language. You'll leave sessions with something to sit with — not a list of affirmations.

"Therapy should create real change, not just conversations that circle the same pain."

Psychodynamic

Where did this pattern come from? We follow it back so we can finally change it.

CBT

Practical tools. The thoughts that keep you stuck — we name them, test them, rewrite them.

Person-centred

You lead. I walk alongside — never ahead, never over, always at your pace.

Solution-focused

Honouring where you've been and building what comes next — clarity, not rumination.

THE STORY OF UNCHAOS

Founded on a simple, stubborn belief.

Unchaos started with a question: what if therapy didn't feel like a taboo? What if it felt like the part of your week where you finally exhaled? Like going to the gym but for your mind?

Therapy has a PR problem. Somewhere along the way, it became the thing you do when everything's already on fire — not the thing that stops you from quietly spiralling.

Hi, I'm Fatema (Ema). Therapist, expat, and someone who once thought she had it all figured out until life handed her a plot twist she didn't see coming. I've sat on both sides of the couch — and I can tell you, the view is humbling from either seat. I work with people who are fluent in "I'm fine." High achievers running on caffeine and willpower. Expats who built a whole new life abroad and still can't shake the feeling that they're slightly out of place at their own party. People of colour doing the invisible double shift — navigating the world out there and the noise in their head.

You don't think you need therapy. You're not in crisis. You're just... running a little hot. Like a laptop with forty-three tabs open — technically functional, occasionally freezing, making a sound that probably isn't normal.

That's what Unchaos is for. Not to fix you — you're not broken — but to help you close a few tabs, figure out which ones actually matter, and stop running everything on low battery. We laugh, we go to the uncomfortable places, and we work through it — together.

"Honestly, this was my very first time in therapy, and I didn't know what to expect at all. But with Fatema, everything feels so seamless. She's always on time, and she asks thought-provoking questions, which helps me challenge my current thoughts and the way I approach life. She uses simple analogies that make it easier for me to connect, relate, and improve myself."

THE FAQ

Questions that usually come up.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

If you're asking, you're probably ready. You don't need a diagnosis. If something feels off — that's reason enough. Start with a free call; decide from there.

What happens in a discovery call?

20 minutes, online. You say as much or as little as you want. I ask questions, answer yours, and we see if it feels like a fit. Zero pressure to book after.

How much do sessions cost?

Fees are discussed on the discovery call and depend on your situation. Sliding scale available where possible. The first call is always free.

Are sessions online or in person?

All online, via video. You need a private room, a steady connection, and a tolerance for occasionally hearing your own voice.

Is everything confidential?

Yes. Full confidentiality is the foundation — limits are explained clearly in the first session so nothing is a surprise later.

How often do we meet?

Usually weekly or fortnightly. We'll settle on a rhythm that matches what you need and your calendar can actually hold.
